Valentine’s Day is getting closer! And as we all know, that only means one thing… Love quotes!

Just kidding, it means a lot of other things, too. But today I will share my top eight coolest, cutest and classiest love quotes of all time in no particular order.

  1. “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.” –Winnie the Pooh

Who doesn’t love a good Pooh quote? He’s the king of adorableness, and knows exactly what he’s talking about.

  1. “I fell in love with her courage, her sincerity and her flaming self respect. And it’s these things I’d believe in, even if the whole world indulged in wild suspicions that she wasn’t all she should be. I love her and that is the beginning of everything.” –F. Scott Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald seems to be quite a loyal and loving guy. He knows how to make a lady feel special.

  1. “You know that place between sleep and awake, the place you can still remember dreaming? That’s where I will always love you, that’s where I will be waiting.” –Peter Pan

Peter Pan sure can romance a girl! I’m assuming his pickup lines usually work.

  1. “Love is friendship set on fire.”

This is one of the most down-to-earth, true love quotes I’ve ever read. The best love I’ve ever seen is friendship set on fire.

  1. “Unless it is mad, passionate extraordinary love, it is a waste of time. There are too many mediocre things in life. Love should not be one of them.”

No, love shouldn’t be one of them.

  1. Happiness is only real when shared.” –Into The Wild

I believe this is a beautiful quote, one that gives great insight into what a relationship should be.

  1. “There are all kinds of love in this world, but never the same love twice.” –F. Scott Fitzgerald

There’s no such thing as loving someone the same way twice. It’s a rule of science!

  1. “It is a risk to love. What if it doesn’t work out? Ah, but what if it does.” –Peter McWilliams

My hope for you is that you go through this Valentine’s Day with a romantic and optimistic outlook on what love can be.
