It’s that time of year again! From racehorses, floppy hats, coolers, and beautiful sundresses it’s finally time for Carolina Cup. This year marks the 81st year of this wonderful event. It will be taking place on March 30th 2013 in Camden South Carolina. This event is a huge horse race and tailgate where organizations from all over get together and have a wonderful time. Last year about 50-60,000 people came from all over America to enjoy themselves. Now that is a large amount of people if I don’t say so myself!
Vendors such as Vineyard Vines and Lilly Pulitzer have been known to make a stop at this event with some amazing freebees. If you don’t already have your ticket you can still go, they will be available for purchase at the gate for $45 while general admission parking is $10. All major credit cards will be accepted at the event, but make sure you have some cash on hand. Make sure you don’t bring any glass containers for the safety of the horses (Carolina Cup Rules). Get excited! And get ready for the vibrant colors of spring shown in the color of dresses, hats, and seersucker. Gates open at 9am; hope to see you there!
