Ever since I was in high school, I have been obsessed with the “The Great Gatsby.” The book is just this romaticized version of the 1920’s jazz age. In a sense, I guess it inspired me to research everything about the clothes, hair, and accessories. I think it is probably one of my favorite times of fashions because it is so glamourous. Ever since I heard they were remaking the movie two years ago, I have been awaiting this day forever. Needless to say, the day is almost here and I couldn’t be more excited. So as an ode to “The Great Gatsby,” I will do a blog dedicated to the fashions of that age.Â
These dresses are modern version of dresses women could wear back then. I like them because they are simple, but are decorative in the embelishments.Â
This hair accessory is probably my favorite because it follow the patterns of her bangs. Also, I like the size the flowers descend in.Â
