Moving off campus? Going abroad? Graduating? There’re any number of reasons why one might be searching for an apartment, and everyone is faced with the same issue: how do you find the right one? As it turns out, there’s an app for that.
Campus Rep Varsha Ramesh shares with us the hottest new resource for apartment- hunters: Zumper. Since its inception in 2011, Zumper has made it a mission to provide accurate, crucial information to college hunters to make the apartment-search easier.
“The site is very well-organized and its user interface is fast and easy to use, especially in comparison to other websites like Craigslist,” says Varsha. “They have built direct relationships with the leading landlords and brokers in America, in order to market these apartments directly to the Zumper customer community. This ensures that the apartment listings users see are accurate and legitimate.”
The site utilizes “neighborhood pages” on its interface so that browsing is quick and easy. Zumper’s system currently includes conclusive information for New York, San Francisco, and Chicago—some of the most popular sites for BC and college grads everywhere.
