This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Now You See Me, directed by Louis Leterrier, hit theaters this summer in late May. It soon became a summer hit and proved itself at the box office week after week, grossing over $200 million worldwide. This summer blockbuster is now out on DVD, and if you have yet to see this awesome movie, you really need to find the nearest Redbox so you can take in all the wonder for yourself.

Now You See Me centers around four large personality illusionists who start out as individual acts until an unknown overseer brings them together. Together, their act becomes known as the Four Horsemen. Under ominous instruction, they take their act and hit the big stage of Las Vegas. The highlight of their act comes when they rob a bank and disperse the money to the members of the audience. While fabulous for the members of the audience, the FBI does not quite see the illusionists’ stunt in the same light. With twists at every turn, Now You See Me takes the audience along the journey of mystery and excitement, and gets more twisted and complex with every passing minute of this awesome film.

Now You See Me not only has an amazing story line but a star-studded cast as well. Staring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Woody Harrelson, these starts bring the movie to a whole new level. The well-done acting brings every exciting second of the movie to life and makes the audience continue to wonder what will happen next. All of these amazing assets coupled with remarkable special effects, the audience is sure to get lost in all of the illusion of this movie.

Now You See Me is a must see, and once you are finished watching, be on the lookout for updates concerning the recently announced Now You See Me 2. If you haven’t already stopped reading this article to rent this stellar movie, go to it and stay tuned for another movie review next Wednesday!
