Although you may not feel like it, you’re going to have to leave your house in the winter. So why not look cute when you do?

One of my favorite styles is the edgy style, and when winter comes around, it’s time for those edgy girls to shine. It’s all about leather and studs. Here are some of my favorite edgy trends for colder weather.

1. Biker boots

I love boots, and adding studs and buckles are a great way to give them an extra edge. You could be wearing the most gorgeous, floral dress, but slip on a pair of these bad boys and you’re going to feel like the coolest chick on the block. Black is king in the world of boots, but brown can work if you know how to pair them.

2. Vampy make-up

It’s all about the dark lips, and you need to be daring to pull this off. Everyone’s summer tan fades during the winter months, so dress up your pale face with this vampy look.

3. Leather

From jackets to pants, I can’t get enough of leather. Throw a leather jacket over a t-shirt and jeans to give it a little something, or pair your favorite boots with a pair of leggings with leather side-panels. Whatever you do, worship the leather. It is one of the easiest ways to show off your edgy side.

4. Rings

Rings galore! I love rings, and stacking your fingers with tons of jewelry is a great way to accessorize in the winter without dealing with too much clunky jewelry. Midi rings are still in, and make it easy to add to that cluttered look.

5. Beanies

It’s cold, and we want to wear hats, but what are winter-appropriate hats? Beanies, duh! Leave your hair down and throw on a beanie for a goth-rocker feel.
