School is well underway, as are our late night study sessions. So what should we do when we wake up and find ourselves looking overtired with those lingering dark circles under our eyes?

You’ll need:

  • Concealer—avoid one that is too thick and will end up looking cakey or end up creasing
  • Highlighting Liquid Concealer—again you’ll want something light and bright that can easily be layered
  • Translucent Powder and Flat Puff—look for an ultra fine powder that won’t settle into lines
  • Concealer Brush—any flat brush but your fingers work as well

Steps:

1. Sweep the concealer brush (or your finger) against the concealer so you have a light layer. This is important. Don’t use a lot at once—build upon the layers so that your eyes look light and not cakey.

2. Start applying the concealer along your lower lid starting from the inner corner of the eye. If one layer isn’t enough, go ahead and add another.

3. Blend the concealer in with your ring finger. Using your ring finger inhibits you from pushing too hard on the eyelid.

4. Dot the highlighting liquid slightly below the area you just concealed and blend into the skin with your finger.

5. Dip the puff or sponge into the translucent powder.

6. Apply the puff directly onto the places you just concealed and highlighted. Don’t pull the puff across the area. Instead just dab and press, working your way from the inner corner to the outer corner.

VOILA!

Your dark circles are gone!
