Make Me More Productive

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Georgetown chapter.

Every year, I find it more difficult to motivate myself during the second semester.  Half of me is still holding onto the last days of winter break, wishing I were tucked under the covers in my big bed at home, while the other part of me is already day dreaming about summer and the freedom it offers.  In an effort to make my last semester in college the most productive one yet, I researched different productivity tools that possess concentration tactics.

1.     The notion that one should procrastinate one type of homework by doing homework for another class.  This works…sometimes.

2.     Exercise, at least a few times a week, increases focus.

3.     This Ted Talk by David Allen: http://ed.ted.com/on/OQFsvelw

4.     …And this Ted Talk by Shawn Achor.

5.     Figure out what times of day you work best and do work in these hours.

Welcome back and have a good spring!
