Her Campus: What made you choose Accounting as you Major?Dana Campbell: I took it junior year of high school and was good at it, so I figured why not! I didn’t realize what I learned that entire year would be what I did in just the first four chapters of my college career, but even though it’s been a lot of work, it’s been rewarding. Bloom’s program makes me confident that I’ll get a great job and succeed.
HC: What was your favorite class you took at Bloom?DC: Law and Literature with Laura Davis. It was a class for my minor, but it ended up being my favorite because it was a fun way to learn about the law. The books we read were really interesting, especially the ones that were based on true stories.
HC: Who is your favorite professor?DC: Dr. Robson, but for reasons beyond the in-class teaching aspect. He’s also the head of the Accounting Department and has always been there to help and guide me over my four years here.
HC: Do anything special for Spring Break? If so, what was your favorite part?DC: Yes, I went to Vegas with four other Pixie seniors and three of our roommates! It was literally the most amazing time of my life, so we’re making it an annual trip. It’s hard to pick just one favorite- what happens there stays there- but I would probably say WetRepublic at MGM! If you travel there, put it on the top of your to do list. Everything about this city is unreal, especially the nightlife, it’s definitely an unforgettable trip.
HC: What is your favorite Bloomsburg memory?DC: That’s tough, it’s definitely between my bids night for Pixies or Spring Break! They were both amazing, and the best ways to start and end my time at Bloom with my best friends.
