Can’t study in your room? 5 Places on Campus to Study!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Providence chapter.

Finals are right around the corner!  Sometimes studying in your room or with friends leads to a fews unproductive hours.  Instead try out these five study spots on campus to make the most of your study time!

1)   Ruane

This new building must be taken advantage of.  It’s a beautiful place to study and after hours are perfect, as most of the classrooms are empty. Grab a Starbucks and find a quiet classroom!

2)   Tables outside of Slavin

Since the weather is getting nicer, no one wants to be stuck inside studying on a beautiful day!  Put on some sunglasses and sit in the sun outside of Slavin with your work, maybe you’ll even get a tan!

3)   Suites Lounge

Have a friend who lives in Suites?  Ask them to let you in and study in the lounge on the second floor! It’s typically quiet and a great place to meet a group for a project.

4)   Quiet Zone in the Library

Some people aren’t able to study with any distractions.  The Quiet Zone is a great place where concentration is enforced and a great place to get work done without any distractions!

5)   Feinstein

Don’t live on upper campus but want a quiet classroom to yourself? Feinstein is a great place to either meet a group or work alone.

Good luck on finals and finding places to get work done!
