Major: Computer Science

HCO: What made you change from Business to Computer Science?

IT entrepreneurs were usually technical people. Studying business won’t help me build a company that will be able to change the world. Technology makes business models change, not the other way around. It is a risky deciscion since I have taken a lot of business classes, but I do not regret this.

HCO: What do you do outside of school?

I am part of Unbound Magazine and I play around with photography as a hobby.

HCO: What got you into photography?

In high school, all my friends started buying cameras and I got really into it because it was cool. I started using DSLR’s then I got into film photography. I love film photography, but it is so time consuming to develop the negatives and it can get pretty expensive.

HCO: What kind of photographs do you like to shoot?

I like to shoot landscape and portraits. Landscape is really easy though. All you have to do is point and shoot the area you want to photograph. The thing about portraits is it’s a lot more personal. You have to try to get the subject to really be into modeling for you. For example, if the model is having a bad day, you have to coax the best out of him or her by saying different praise.

HCO: I noticed you have a lot of HDR photographs (blending overexposed, perfectly exposed, and underexposed together). How did you learn how to do all of this?

To be honest, I have never taken a class. I learned through watching YouTube videos as well as practicing on my own. When I got my first good camera, I spent the entire day playing around with it.
