Smorgasburg: A Foodie’s Dream Come True

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fordham chapter.

It was only our first weekend back at school and my friends and I already needed a break from Sodexo. So naturally, we got on the subway and spent our Sunday in Brooklyn. The destination: Smorgasburg. It’s the all-food market that hosts 100 different food vendors representing all kinds of cuisines. Not going to lie, it was pretty overwhelming; I didn’t know where to start! There was definitely so much more that I wish I had tried, but I guess I’ll just have to go back. Hopefully these pictures will give you a sneak peek into the kind of mouth-watering experience you could be having! Smorgasburg is being held at the Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 2 now through October 5th.

Coconut for two please!

Oyster bar experience.

Kellyn is clearly enjoying her Almondine Doughnut by Dun-well Doughnuts.

She even gave it its own photo shoot.
