Hangovers…most of us have been there (if over 21 collegiettes!). I’m here to tell you the best remedies to cure those nasty ones.

1.Water

Drinking water is a must. However, I wouldn’t suggest chugging a whole bottle of water all at once just from personal experience. I recommend getting some ice chips or ice cubes to suck on every couple minutes. This will introduce water back into your system so that you can stomach liquid again. If you just chug water, you’re bound to get sick!

2. A Greasy Breakfast

Although there aren’t any foods that are scientifically recommended to cure a hangover, most people say having a big greasy breakfast makes you feel a whole lot better and I would have to agree. It’s known that you need to get calories back into your system right away, so this kind of breakfast will definitely do the job!

3. Hair of The Dog

There is no scientific evidence that the hair of the dog works. Although scientists wouldn’t recommend it, some people think it works great. The hair of the dog is better known as just having another drink. The thought of having another drink might make you sicker than you already feel, but it can do the job!

4. Exercise

Exercise can help you feel a lot better… that is, if you can even get yourself out of bed. A gentle sweat can help you feel a million times better because you’re sweating the alcohol out of your system. Definitely keep a water bottle handy during this little exercise because you don’t want any added dehydration to your hangover!

5. Sleep

Of all these hangover remedies, the best thing to do is just get some sleep. Sleeping it off will obviously waste your day away, but you’ll feel brand new when you wake up. People do sleep poorly after a night of drinking because the withdraw of alcohol will jolt you awake, but laying in bed and dosing in and out of sleep always helps me feel better! Plus, sleep deprivation definitely won’t help your hangover situation.
