Savannah is our celebrity of the week for her awesome involvement on campus and for representing William Paterson as a model in Her Campus College Fashion Week in New York City this year. How awesome is that?
HC: What was it like modeling in Her Campus College Fashion Week this year?
SF: It was a lot of fun! I loved the fact that it was something so girly and positive that all college women could unite in. It was a very cool experience that let me have fun and let my hair down!
HC: What was your favorite part?
SF: My favorite part definitely had to be trying on my outfits! I love fashion and getting dressed up, so Boohoo’s style was right up my alley!
HC: What is it like to be so involved with planning events at WPUNJ and working with freshmen as a mentor? What do you like most about it?
SF: I love being involved on campus; you learn so much from planning events, like setting up professional emails, following up with vendors, and being one of the first people to know about what’s going on, on campus! Working with freshmen is definitely a cool experience. I always like to tell them that their first year here is the perfect time to get involved because you get to meet so many different people!
HC: What are some of your favorite things to do at William Paterson?
SF: One of my favorite things to do here at Willy P is to go to Common Hour and be a social butterfly. I love seeing so many people all at one place with the DJ playing; it’s like a mini party before class!
HC: What goals do you have for yourself before you graduate?
SF: I want to experience as many internships as possible and network with as many people as I can!
HC: Silly question! If you could be any Breakfast item what would you be and why?
SF: I think I’d be a waffle! I love waffles; you should see how many times I use my waffle maker.
