Snapped: It’s Not Only 43

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Nottingham chapter.

20th November celebrates the Mexican Revolution, but this year a group of Mexican students at UoN did things a little differently. In honour of the missing 43 students at the Ayotzinapa school, and to increase awareness of ongoing problems in Mexico, students gathered for a peaceful protest. They wore black as a symbol of grief for everyday violence in the country and completed a 43 minute walk of silence around campus.

For more information, watch this space for HC’s upcoming article about the protest.

I'm a History, Russian and Spanish student at the University of Nottingham, England. I am a Youtube Presenter for that chapter, as of this September, and I love reading, movies and cooking.
Sam is a Third Year at the University of Nottingham, England and Campus Correspondent for HC Nottingham. She is studying English and would love a career in journalism or marketing (to name two very broad industries). But for now, her favourite pastimes include nightclubs, ebay, cooking, reading, hunting down new music, watching thought-provoking films, chatting, and attempting to find a sport/workout regime that she enjoys!
