5 Signs You’re in a Hamilton No-Label Relationship

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hamilton chapter.

Been seeing someone for months? Still haven’t had the “talk” yet about defining your

hook ups? Not sure if you should? Trust me, you’re not alone. Countless Hamilton

students have been complaining about the frustrating No-Label relationships that

happen here on the Hill. It’s clear that Hamilton students hook up and hang out

often. Yet it seems that many students are afraid to throw on a label and

define the relationship. Unfortunately, we think this might be an epidemic on college

campuses across the nation. Want to know if you are yet another victim of the

epidemic of undefined relationships? Here are 5 signs that you are in the classic

Hamilton No-Label relationship:

1) Your friends tell you to just “go with the flow” and see where it goes. I guess

there is no harm in taking it slow, but if you know what you want, there is no

harm in honesty!

2) You text frequently, if not everyday. You always seem to know what they are

up to and where they are, even if you’re not together. Maybe you don’t hang

out all the time, I mean you both have lives, too, but you get excited when you

finally find the time.

3) You’re in each other’s snapchat best friends. If you’re too scared to text them,

maybe a snapchat will spark a text conversation, right?

4) You end your weekend nights together. It’s one o’clock in the morning on

Saturday. You’re jamming out to Katy Perry in diner B when suddenly they

text you, “what are you up to?” and you know who you’ll be getting breakfast

with tomorrow.

5) You like each other and feel comfortable expressing it, but the conversation

never goes further than that. So far, there have been no plans for the future,

and you’re impatient.
