ASTR is one of my favorite groups! Dynamic duo Zoe Silverman and Adam Pallin come together as ASTR, an electro/RnB group. I first heard the group’s song “Operate” in a dance video on YouTube. Of course I needed to find out out who these people were and when I did, I fell in love with the rest of their 5 song EP called Varsity. ASTR’s latest single is called “Part Of Me”, but I’m writing today about their amazing cover of Rae Sremmurd’s hit, “No Type”, I am a HUGE fan of Rae Sremmurd; their debut album SremmLife blew me away, so check it out if you haven’t heard it! Even if you didn’t listen to their album, chances are, you’ve heard their song “No Type”. What I love about ASTR’s cover is that it is completley them. It’s like Rae Sremmurd’s song went through a magical, trippy, indie machine and was sprinkled with glitter. Awesome right? Take a listen here!
