Spring 2015 Fashion and Beauty Trends

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Siena chapter.

From New York to London, to Milan and Paris, these Spring 2015 style and beauty trends are hot off the runways and ready to be rocking the streets! These are the must-have looks that are a must-have for this season.

Shirt dresses

Who knew a shirt could really be a dress! This edgy look is the definition of street style this season.

The “Long Bob”

Long hair is back, people. The long/short look is being taken on by celebrities from Kim Kardashian to Taylor Swift, so if you have long locks, CHOP ‘EM!!!

Yellow

Before you say “no way Jose”, there is definitely a shade of yellow for everyone! We all know it’s a risky color to play with, but yellow is in. Yellow is one of those “funky” colors that you can pair with any other color to make your look more fun. It also adds a bit of a risk factor. Are you willing to take the challenge?

Gingham

Plaid has a new friend.

Kimono Coats

They are comfy, stylish and a perfect addition to an outfit when you are out and about this spring. Think of it as a mix between a robe, a kimono and trench coat!

All White Everything

This “white out” ensemble is simple yet sophisticated. It’s sleek and sexy and gives you a chance to accessorize, play with different make-up looks and bold colors.

Plum lips

This bold lip color has been rocking the runways this season and is perfect for day and night looks. When it comes to make-up this spring, try going for a “cleaner” look. Pairing a natural eye with a bold lip will look perfect with any outfit.

Soft nail polish

When going for your next manicure, you might not have to make such a difficult decision when picking your polish color. Try more natural nail colors, such as light pinks or nudes.

Inky black eyes

This eye look may take you three minutes tops and will make you look fierce as ever. Sometimes less is more, so there is no need for eyeshadow with this look. Ditch the red lip and try going for the drama on your eyes, along with a natural gold and bronzed look.
