Volunteer
Nothing changes you like helping other people. Whether you do it once, or you make it a habit over the summer, why not spend some of your free time giving back? Some great places to get involved are Boys and Girls Club of America, your local Animal Shelter, or your local Food Bank!
Get a Job
Not only does a job give you experience for the “real world”, but it also gives you that necessary money to make it through the school year. Goodbye monthly allowance, hello weekly manicures!
Attend a Festival
A music festival, a strawberry festival, or the International Folk Art Festival, it doesn’t matter, but surround yourself with people who are passionate. Not only will you find some of the most interesting people, but also the most caring.
