It’s Squash Season

Fall is upon us, therefore it’s squash season! Looking for a healthy alternative to pasta try this recipe for spaghetti squash. 

 

Ingredients: 

Spaghetti Squash 

Pasta Sauce/ Pesto Sauce 

Parmesean 

Chicken (optional)

Seasonings: Garlic, Butter, ect. 

Steps:

Wash and cut the spaghetti squash in half lentghwise, remove seeds and strings. 

Season to taste, place in oven or microwave. [Personally prefer baking the squash]

Microwave it on high for ten minutes or roast it for thrity-five minutes at 350 degrees.

Cool and then use a fork to crape flesh from top to bottom into strands of spaghetti.

Add your choosing of pasta sauce, meat, or cheese.
