Matching The Fall Season With Nail Polish!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Winona chapter.

As the fall season approaches, it’s time to stock up on some new nail polish colors! Nothing says fall like the beautiful colors of the changing season. The trees are changing, clothes are layering, and your nail polish is matching! Here are some fall nail color ideas that will match this seasons hottest trends, as well as the natural beauty of the fall season!

1.      There’s no better color to match those dark fall leaves than the nail color, “Jade is the new Black” by OPI.

2.  A fall hat is the perfect accessory for this year with a pop of maroon color. The polish to match this look can be, “Wicked” by Essie or “Every Month is Oktoberfest” by OPI. Either color matches perfectly!

3.     Paint your nails with these colors, “Frock ‘n Roll” by Essie and “Vintage Vinyl” by L’Oréal Paris, while lighting a fall-scented candle to create that warm, fall atmosphere.

4.OPI nail color, “Ski Teal We Drop”, accentuates the teal in my new scarf! It’s the perfect accessory to keep me warm this fall!

5.  The beautiful fall leaves are appearing everywhere and what better color to paint your nails than, “The Statement Piece” by L’oreal Paris to represent the golden sparkle given off from those trees!

6.      While enjoying a hayride at your nearest orchard, stop to pick a few dark berries to snack on! One way to tell if those berries are ripe and ready to pick, is by matching the color to your OPI nail polish color, “ Do you Have this Color in Stockholm?”.

7.     Last, but not least…Representing the staple color of the Autumn season can be the nail color,  “Osaka-To-Me Orange” by OPI, and what’s a better way to spend a fall day sipping on a Pumpkin-Spiced Latte from Starbucks in one of their festive fall cups?!
