Whether he’s cruising the sidewalks of UCF, or stilt walking at Universal, Mr. Kelly is the quite the guy to look out for.
Her Campus UCF (HCUCF): So, how old are you?
Austin Kelly (AK): 21
HCUCF: What year are you?
AK: Junior
HCUCF: What are you majoring in?
AK: Human Communication
HCUCF: What do you want to do with that?
AK: I want to be a broadcaster (or something to do with) broadcasting and sports.
HCUCF: What do you like about UCF?
AK: It’s a good learning environment, its a welcoming atmosphere, and there’s a lot of beautiful women here (he laughs). So it’s also a plus.
HCUCF: (laughs) So you’re single?
AK: Yes
HCUCF: What do you do in your spare time when you’re not looking at the welcoming atmosphere and beautiful women? (laughs)
AK: I go to the gym, workout, hang out with friends and I work.
HCUCF: Where do you work?
AK: Universal
HCUCF: What do you do there?
AK: I am a stilt walker!
HCUCF: When do you stilt walk?
AK: I do seasonal events; like Mardi Gras Parade and Halloween Horror Nights.
HCUCF: What is your favorite restaurant or bar?
AK: Favorite restaurant… I have to say, Hillstone in Winterpark.
HCUCF: What type of food do they serve?
AK: All types; barbecue, seafood, upscale type. I don’t go there a lot, but when I do go, that’s my favorite spot.
HCUCF: So you take the beautiful UCF girls there?
AK: I don’t know about that, ha!
HCUCF: I’m just kidding! So, I see that your a UM fan. (He was repping a UM polo, sorry Knights!) Why do you like them?
AK: My father lived in Miami for 14 years, and he was a UM fan, so I was raised as a Miami fan.
HCUCF: Who is your favorite player?
AK: No one actually, the whole team! As well as coach Mark Richt. He was a former Georgia coach; we haven’t had a good coach in a while so, I have faith in him.
HCUCF: So would you want to work for UM as a broadcaster? Or any sport?
AK: I’m leaning towards football or basketball, but wherever I can get in, I’ll take it.
HCUCF: Okay, personal question coming up.
AK: Uh oh…
HCUCF: Don’t get nervous. So, you’re single, why is that? You’re a good looking guy, you work, you have that cash flow, also you have good taste in restaurants (and food), so why are you single? What type of women do you like?
AK: I don’t really have a specific type.
HCUCF: Qualities?
AK: Outgoing, good personality, this is all typical stuff! She’s has to be pretty too.
HCUCF: Where would you take this woman? After this is published your going to be having women stalking your page.
AK: Anything that she’s up to, I feel like most girls like Disney.
HCUCF: What about women, and not girls?
AK: Okay women not girls! Are we talking like my age or older?
HCUCF: How much older would you go?
AK: Like 2 or 3 years.
HCUCF: And younger?
AK: 2 or 3 years!
