5 Netflix Shows That Will Have You Reliving Your Childhood

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emerson chapter.

With the amount of snow days that are (hopefully) coming our way, we will all have ample amounts of time to binge-watch as many Netflix shows as possible. Some of the best shows on Netflix are probably the ones you already know and grew up with. Watching these shows the second time around will have you laughing at jokes you never understood and developing crushes on characters you never realized were so hot.

1. Friends

Even though Friends came out the year most of us were born (1994), it lasted until 2004, so if your parents watched the show, then chances are you did too. Watching it now will have you relating to Rachel, Monica and Phoebe like never before.

2. How I Met Your Mother

HIMYM was one of the most popular shows during the most formative years of our lives. From 2005 to 2014, we rooted for Ted and Robin and then Robin and Barney. Not to mention, Lily and Marshall were always relationship goals.

3. Goosebumps

You don’t have to wait until Halloween time to watch Goosebumps on Cartoon Network anymore. Surprisingly, Goosebumps only aired from 1995 to 1998, but it will live on forever in our hearts, our nightmares and on Netflix.

4. Gossip Girl

From junior high to senior year, Gossip Girl had us wishing we were part of Manhattan’s elite. If you plan on re-watching all five seasons just know that the drama is just as addicting as it was in high school.

5. That ’70s Show

That ‘70s Show was definitely one of those shows that we didn’t understand completely in the mid-2000s, but as we grew up and started watching the reruns on MTV every day after school, the show started getting more and more perfect.

Let the binge-watching begin!
