Why CAU? Originally, I wanted to go to Howard if I attended an HBCU because of their amazing theater dept. Unfortunately, I wasn’t accepted into Howard. I originally planned to stay in California, get my grades up to par at a community college then try to transfer to a university in California. Unfortunately I After going on an HBCU tour, I was able to envision myself here at this institution when I was fortunate enough to step foot on this campus. After I touched this campus, something inside of me told me this is where I’d attend. I had last minute doubts about going across the country  to college instead of staying in California but my Grandmother helped me take action of the chance I was being given. I did research on Atlanta before I arrived and did my homework on the agencies, film productions, shows, movies, and theater productions occurring here. Doing my research on Atlanta helped me in my decision to come here. I personally feel that everything happens for a reason. I was meant to come here for a purpose far greater than that of which I knew before arriving here. I have made great relationships with my theater directors and have had opportunities I would’ve never expected to intersect in my path. Currently I am not sure if I will be here next year because of other colleges I have been looking into back home and/or other schools for theater and the performing arts. I know however that I made the right decision attending this University; for it has helped me in terms of a foundation. This University has assisted into molding me into the young man I am today.

What organizations are you involved in on campus? I am involved in the CAU Chapel Choir, CAU Chapel Praise Team and the CAU Players.

Something no one knows: I used to want to be a lead singer of a boy band when I was younger.

One piece of advice: One piece of advice I would give to all ages would be to be proud in every decision you feel will benefit you positively. Don’t listen to others’ opinions on your choices because everyone has their own path and your life’s path isn’t theirs.

3 items you would take to on a deserted island: A knife, a lighter, and a compass

If you had to choose a superpower, what would it be? Telekinesis because I would be able to fly and move other objects.

What makes you the happiest? Being on stage on the spotlight makes me the happiest; it is where I can fully be myself.

Best concert you have been to? The best concert I’ve been to was an Ed Sheeran concert in Los Angeles.

What is your favorite holiday? My favorite holiday is Christmas. I feel that it’s a very joyful time and a time to be thankful and give. Christmas also ignites a sense of constant nostalgia every year it comes around. Christmas makes me think back to a time when I could be a kid. When I was a kid the problems of the world never seemed to affect me. I, most of the time, was happy. When I was younger, I had no responsibilities nor did I have to have any. Christmas makes me feel like a kid again.
