Some people call it a tourist trap, but even now as an official San Diegan, I still find myself coming back to this place at least once every few weeks. This place is rustically beautiful and has countless places to explore.

The entire village is situated next to the harbor and there is a sidewalk along the water, providing panoramic views of downtown San Diego. Along the path, you will find a variety of boutiques, many that are very unique. There are also countless restaurants which all serve incredible seafood.

My favorite place, though, has got to be the Upstart Crow Coffeehouse and Bookstore. It has great coffee, interesting gifts, and the coziest atmosphere. On the weekends, they sometimes even have live music come and perform.

If you’re looking for a true taste of San Diego, Seaport Village is the place for you. Pro tip: come in the late afternoon to enjoy the nice weather and then stay for the sunset, it will be an especially good one.

I feel as though my best attributes are my coffee addiction, my obsession with pastels, but most importantly, my love of puppies. I also adore going to the beach, hugging people, and laughing at my own jokes. You can follow my adventures over at my Instagram @lauren.__xo .
