ATTENTION HARRY POTTER FANS: your dreams for additions to the Harry Potter universe are coming true!

Most fans fall into one of two categories: fans of the movies or of the books. Yes, there are fans of both, but many have allegiances to one or the other, which begs the question of which is better: the books that inspired the films or the films that brought the books to life?

Fans of the books like using their imaginations to picture things like Harry’s room under the stairs or the Weasley house, making their journey through the wizarding world more mysterious. Movie fans, however, like seeing picturization of the words they fell in love with, walking through Hogsmeade with Harry, or visiting Hagrid’s hut.

Well now the best of both worlds exists, putting the book versus movie feud to rest!

The new version of “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” illustrated by Jim Kay, was just released. Now HP fans can read the “Sorcerer’s Stone” and Chamber of Secrets” with images that are true to the books while adding the visual pleasure found in the movies! Readers can once again journey through the series with a new feel, and movie viewers can discover where their beloved films came from. The new versions of are available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and more.  There’s no word yet on when the rest of books will be illustrated, but those will surely be magical editions as well.

But wait, there’s more! Not only are there new books, there is a new movie as well! “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” was a book referenced in the Harry Potter series, and is now being turned into a movie! And who plays the main character, Newt Scamander you ask? None other than Eddie Redmayne! *pause while you fangirl*

After the sadness and loss of hope fans experienced when the series came to an end, HP fans are being given new life! And the magical wonder lives on.
