Sexual Assault Awareness Month

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at ASU chapter.

During the month of April, ASU students honor Sexual Assault Awareness Month, which is dedicated to educating the public about the dangers of sexual assault. On Thursday, students gathered for Take Back the Night, an event that honors survivors of sexual assault by meeting together and marching down Mill Ave. The stand-up cutouts each represent and depict the story and survival of someone who was sexually assaulted. There are many events at ASU for students to take part in to learn more about sexual assault and how to prevent it this month.
