What goals are you looking forward to achieving during your collegiate career?

“During the duration of my collegiate experience, I aspire to foster long-lasting relationships with the faculty, alumni, and fellow students, which will become beneficial to my future success. Also, I look forward to expanding my horizon by becoming more aware of the diversity, yet likeness we all embody as African Americans. I really want to leave my mark here at CAU, by being known for that guy who was well respected, yet maintained humility.”

Does your passion for music have any impact on your lifestyle and who you are as an individual?

Music has been a huge part of my life since birth. Being a product of a long legacy of preachers, my roots are strong within the church and its music. Music has become 75 percent of my life. That percentage grows daily as my love for it grows stronger.”

Who is your inspiration that has inspired you to be the great singer that you are today?

“Growing up as a young singer, there were many people who inspired me. However, Mahalia Jackson, James Moore, and Mali Music were tremendous role models in the evolving of the artist that I am today.”

As far as your gift of singing, do you see yourself being a successful artist in the future?

It is my dream to travel all over the world, to sing and deliver God’s message through my songs. I’ve had many opportunities to be a background singer for phenomenal singers, but I know that my day is soon to come.”

What advice do you have for prospective college students (preferably gentlemen) who are thinking about attending college and more specifically, Clark Atlanta University?

“You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with! If you show me a man with great company, I’ll show you a man destined to succeed. Do not hang around the wrong crowd.. The females can wait. We are the target for America! We must become educated young warriors!!”

What challenges do you face, if any, as a gentlemen looking forward to graduating college?

Procrastination and the ability to express the way I feel are two of my greater challenges in life.”

In what ways do you want to use your leadership abilities to benefit you in the near future?

“The greatest reward I can have through my leadership abilities, is by seeing others happy. If everyone that I lead or am surrounded by me can positively benefit from my leadership, than I am honored. My service is not in vain. Also, I look for a successor. Someone to follow my steps, and to accomplish greater than what I did. This ball must keep rolling.”
