It’s that time of the year — Parents/ Alumni weekend! Hope you all have a great time with family and friends! Here’s a list of key events this weekend:
1. A Cappella Concert
parents/alumni weekend A Cappella concert is one of the most popular concerts of the year, featuring the Crosstones, Deansmen, Manic Optimists, Merimanders, Take Notes, etc. On Friday night, Gray Cage, door opens at 7:30PM and concert starts at 8:30PM! Don’t miss it!
2. Football Game
BOBCATS! BE READY! On Saturday Afternoon at 1:00PM, Bates vs. Williams! It is homecoming game– one of the most important games of the year! Be there to cheer for our fellow bobcats!
3. Bates Brew-Fest
Start your Saturday night party little early! Bates BrewFest opens to Bates alumni, students, and families who are 21+. Try local and Bates-inspired beverages — don’t forget to try seasonal drinks (aka pumpkin spiced cider) as well! Also PLEASE BRING YOUR CURRENT ID FOR THE ENTRY AND YOU MUST BE 21+ FOR THIS EVENT.
4. Back to Bates Harvest Dinner & Dessert Fair
During the Harvest Dinner time, there will be no programs — Feel free to stop by anytime between 6:30PM-8:30PM. There will be local Maine dishes. Also from 7:00PM to 9:00PM, there will be Dessert Fair at Garcelon and Alumni Walk tent with live music and horse-drawn buggy rides!
