Ten Times Blair Waldorf Inspired Us

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at New Haven chapter.

Getting motivated enough to actually accomplish things can be one of the biggest struggles of college. The more you have to do, the less you want to do it. If you’re feeling stuck, here’s some advice from the Queen of the Upper East Side herself.

1. “If you really want something you don’t stop for anyone or anything until you get it.”

Blair isn’t afraid to go out and fight for something she wants, and you better believe she won’t let anyone stand in her way.

2. “Destiny is for losers, it’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen.”

Blair doesn’t believe in waiting for good thing to come her way, she takes control of her own life and lives it the way she wants.

3. “Once again the world has proven anything you can do, I can do better”

Blair knows that confidence is key. Believe in yourself and your abilities, and there’s nothing you can’t do.

4. “Oh, my life is so bountiful I don’t need a boyfriend to feel fulfilled.”

You’re the one living your life, so don’t make it about anyone else. Love yourself first, and everything else will fall into place.

5. “I’m not a stop along the way. I’m a destination.”

There’s no doubt that Blair knows her self-worth, and she isn’t about to let anyone make her feel like anything else than the queen that she is.

6. “We make our own fairytales.”

Anyone can dream about their happily ever after, but it’s much more rewarding to go out and make your own story.

7. “The thing about new beginnings is that they require something else to end.”

Sometimes a door has to close before another one can open. Instead of getting hung up on the past, look to make the best of the future.

8. “What I want is to be a powerful woman.”

Blair knows what she wants, and isn’t about to compromise her ideals for anyone else.

9. “I would never put my fate in someone else’s hands.”

Don’t be afraid to get down and dirty, even if you have to come up with plans A-Z. Doing the hard work will pay off in the end!

10. “Sometimes you need to step outside, get some air, and remind yourself who you are and who you want to be.”

It can be easy to get lost in the chaos that is life, but make sure you don’t lose yourself. Remember what you’re working so hard for, and don’t stress about every little thing that doesn’t go exactly the way you want it.

Now you’re ready to take on the world and kick some Bass. Until next time,
