The 10 Best Things About Fall (I promise nothing Pumpkin Spice)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Northeastern chapter.

1. Candles

Honestly, we all live for scented candles. I know I do.

2. Sweaters

It’s the best time of the year when you can bring out your cozy sweaters.

3. Blanket Scarves

They’re so versatile, warm and comfy. Also, when you wear one, everyone is jealous. (Hint: They also double as a pillow for late night study sessions.)

4. Boots

So many different styles, and so many different looks.

5. Warm Drinks

This is my happy place.

6. Falling Leaves

Seeing the leaves change colors and looking at all of the fallen leaves on the ground is the best part of the year.

7. Sunny Days and Brisk Weather

Feeling the cold wind hit your face on a beautiful sunny day is the best feeling.

8. Fall Colors

Reds, browns, and oranges.

I mean look at those colors.

9. Halloween

The cute pet costumes and all the good Halloween movies that come back on (aka Hocus Pocus).

10. Sitting by the fireplace

Who doesn’t want to curl up by the fire with a good book?
