Utah Ute Voter Profile: Sophia Chartrand

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Utah chapter.

Sophia Chartrand, a Freshman studying music production and recording already used her voice to vote by mailing in her vote! Mail-in voting gives citizens a break from the lines and allows them to vote on their own schedules!

Sophia is currently a writer for Her Campus at the University of Utah and we asked her just why she was so amped to get to the polls via mail-in! “It feels so amazing to have a voice for your country and to speak up about how you want to change the world. It may just be a piece of paper but it’s more than that. It’s a voice.”

If you didn’t mail-in your vote, you can still have your voice heard! The University of Utah is an official voting location! Hit the polls at the Library on November 8th!
