Team Edward or Team Jacob? Team Peeta or Team Gale? Rooting for your fave team (or in this case, hottie) is no longer restricted to just sports enthusiasts, but has now paved its way over to fangirls. This November is very special for Gilmore Girl fans, Gilmore Girls is returning to Netflix on the 25th and Lauren Graham’s new book, Talking As Fast As I Can, is set to release on the 29th. With all things Gilmore happening, the battle of boyfriends has commenced, with fans all over debating over which of Rory Gilmore’s boyfriends is best for her and why. So in celebration of the Gilmore Girls revival, here is why Team Logan fans are wrong and why Team Jess fans are right! Because honestly, who is Team Dean?

Jess Mariano, played by Milo Ventimiglia, is a dark haired, handsome, intelligent man who stole the hearts of many when he first appeared in Stars Hollow those many years ago.

He’s got that whole broken bad boy thing going on and that’s always intriguing. He could be closed off, and it has been sarcastically remarked by many Stars Hollow residents that he’s “quite the chatter.” When it comes to Rory, he somehow tends to open up to her and actually has a conversation that consists of more than a few words on his end. Plus, he reads just as much as Rory, they even love the same authors!

When Jess goes back to New York early on in the series, he showed the audience he cared for Rory when he would call her to see how she was doing.

He feels Rory helped him in some parts of his life. He tells Rory when he returns about the book he wrote, telling her that he couldn’t have done it without her. Aww! He loves her and asks her to run away with him! Even though that didn’t necessarily go according to his wishes, it was kind of romantic. Plus, I mean come on, look at that face! He should be given an award.
