3 Foods to Make in Your Dorm

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

Have you ever wanted a late night snack but didn’t know what to make? Have you ever wanted a tasty breakfast but didn’t want to go to the dining hall? Here are three easy recipes for your annoying late night/ early morning cravings!

1.     Egg Sandwich-

Ingredients:

Eggs

Bagel/Bread

Cheese

To make an egg sandwich right in your dorm, first start by cracking open an egg and whisking it with a fork. Put it into a bowl or a cup and heat it up in the microwave for 45 seconds. When done, throw a slice of cheese on it and heat it up for 5-10 more seconds. Then, just put it on a bagel or toast and you have an egg sandwich! (You can also add sausage or bacon if you have them)

2.     Instant Rice Krispie Treat-

Ingredients:

Marshmallows

Butter

Rice Krispies

For a rice krispie treat right in your room, just follow these steps. First, put 4-5 marshmallows in a cup and add a teaspoon of butter. Heat for 30 seconds, stir and then add cereal for a perfect treat!

3.     French Toast-

Ingredients:

Bread

Milk

1 Egg

Cinnamon

First, rip up the bread and stick the cubes into a mug or bowl. Then mix the bread, egg, and cinnamon into another bowl. Mix the two together and push on the bread to make sure it absorbs the concoction. Finally, stick the bowl into the microwave for 1 minute, or longer if needed. Then enjoy!
