Aggressively refreshing your job portal hoping it will change from submitted to action required
Not telling anyone what job you applied to so you don’t jinx it
Freaking out that maybe things won’t workout and then realizing you might have to take a job you hate and get stuck there
Realize you were worried for nothing when you get the coveted, “you’ve been invited for an interview” email. Hey, at least we made it this far.
