13 Relatable Quiet and Shy Girl Moments in College

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Winthrop chapter.

The moments all girls who think too much, but say too little can relate to!

Avoiding the rush hours on campus like…

When the professors says participation is 20 percent of your final grade:

It’s simple: dogs are friends and people are not.

Lit friday nights are staying up until 4 a.m. watching movies.

People only know you by the weird nicknames your normal, louder friends call you.

Friendship is started by mutual dislike on social media, not face to face interaction.

Eating lunch or making plans with people is very strange…

…but when you realize making friends really isn’t that hard…

Trying too hard to not have an awkward silence because you’re at a new school so it’s a #newyou, but you end up talking the persons ear off.

Why is hugging such a thinggggggg?!

When professors says networking is how you get successful you’re like:

The question that gets asked once a day is, “Are you okay? You haven’t said anything.”

The question that will always cause anxiety is, “Will these people still like me when they see my secret personality that is actually very loud and obnoxious?”

Stay quiet and shy and awesome, Collegiettes!
