There are so many people that I am proud of, the list seems to go on and on. To me, being proud of someone isn’t just a fleeting thing. It’s a feeling that never seems to go away. It starts in your core and builds its way out. Being proud of someone is watching their smile widen, or fall, and knowing they did their absolute best. It’s that feeling you get when you hug someone who has had their best, or worst, day. It’s the words leaving your mouth, or the tears running down your cheeks. It’s a repeated phrase. I am so proud.
