Its that time again to vote the next leader in charge of Clark Atlanta University!
Campaign Week is in full effect and students campus- wide are digging into the glory of eating free food, playing games, and of course entertained by the debates. In the mist of elections, one student in particular is taking this time to prove to his peers that he’s worthy of the highest position known to students, Student Government Association Undergraduate President. He’s known for his stern, yet charming demeanor and hard working tatics as Junior Class President, but many may not know is that this student leader is kind and genuinely loves his insitution. This past year as been a memorable one for his class, his friends, and msot importanly the students on and off campus who he has touched with words. This talentend and more than deserving young man is , Elisha Harris. Your next Undergraduate President.
The most important characteristic of a SGA President would be their influence of the student body. If a candidate does not appeal to the student body, their reign would be pointless. Harris is a more than a student running a position for the heck of it; prior to becoming Junior Class President, he quickly gained the influence of the student body with his overwhelming campaign that left his class in awe. Winning more than half of the votes, it is obvious that his drive to bring back the traditions of CAU with the innovations of President Johnsons are geared to making CAU a better place.The candidate has already set the standard of previous SGA Presidents who held the student body to the highest pedestal.
Students look to their SGA Preisdent to be the voice on their behalf when addressing people of higher power. The current Orientation Guide, is the perfect candidate to provide the needs of the students. Elisha Harris has provided our campus with viewings that he is more than capable.
As student administration is changing, Harris has not allowed the changes to hender his reign and kept on with the empowerment of his council. Under his authority, some would say the JCC is the best class council of the 2016-2017 year, in which they held the most influential, successful, and entertaining events that gathered students from all classification together. Harris is the only way to vote during this campaign week and will be the only hope for a better year than this prior for the student body. Without the voice, drive, and ambition of candidate Elisha Harris, the traditions of Clark Atlanta will die out and the voices of the student body will no longer be heard.
