As we all know, freshmen are a species all their own. Some truly are stereotypical freshman and others are actually cool. But whether we like them or not, Storrs is swamped with tons of fresh faces every fall. Here’s how we cope with freshmen at UConn.
You head to first day of classes excited to be back at the one place you love more than anything. Unfortunately, you’re met with an unpleasant surprise – freshmen!
1. When they first appear and your world is shook:

Once you agree to be a resource to them, you find out that they’re just as annoying as you thought…
8. When they’re filled with holiday cheer in December because they don’t have have real finals yet:
9. When they blow up your phone asking dumb questions, like, “Where are the parties at tn???”

You go full-on parent mode and decide to be a true mentor…
13. When they express remorse for spending all of their parents’ money on DP Dough and alcohol, so you let them know it’s okay:

…And as much as you think you’ve become accustomed to the whole dealing with freshman thing, you still need a break from them from time to time…
