Rory’s locker gets stuck and while opening it she accidently bumps into Paris. Paris’s project breaks and guilty Rory feels the need to make it all right by telling the teacher. The teacher decides that the two must work together to fix it. This is just the beginning of their Frienemy relationship. (S1E4)
2. When Paris helps cover for Rory…
Dean catches Rory hanging out with Paris and Jess when she claimed she wanted to be alone. To protect Rory from a fight with Dean, Paris says she asked Rory to invite Jess, because she has a crush on him. Myth busted- Paris, there’s no way you can say you hate Rory now. (S2E16)
3. When Paris and Rory become partners…
Paris uses Rory to gain “nice points” on her presidential campaign. Rory is reluctant at first but is convinced when Paris reminds her how good it will look on college applications. Team work makes the dream work, ladies! (S2E22)
4. When Paris gets a date…
Paris is asked out on her first date but doesn’t realize until Rory points out the obvious. As Paris is getting ready she panics and Rory calms her down and helps prepare her for her special night. What would Paris do without Rory? (S3E1)
5. When Rory is surprised by a familiar face…
Upon arriving at Yale Rory is shocked to find out that not only is Paris also going to Yale but they are roommates. #bestfriendgoals am I right? (S4E2)
6. When Rory keeps Paris’s new romance a secret…
Paris starts dating Rory’s professor, despite him being ANCIENT, and though Rory isn’t too happy about it she keeps the secret. (S4E10)
7. When they Spring break together…
Paris and Rory embark on a journey to Florida and actually take a break from school for once in their lives, and, oh yeah, THEY KISS. Paris gets a little too insecure about how hard edged she is and goes just a tad crazy. (S4E17)
8. When Paris’s lover dies…
Rory thinks it’s a little weird but she knows how much it means to Paris so she passes her time by fending off drunks who call Paris’s widower “the old dead dude.” (S5E3)
9. When Rory comes back…
Rory finally comes to her senses and decides to return to Yale; having no place to stay, she turns to Paris and they are roommates yet again. Paris would never let her good friend live on the streets, just in an unsafe apartment with like 5 locks and self-defense classes to keep them safe.
10. When Paris is scared for the future…
Rory guides Paris in making the right choice about her relationship with Doyle and which grad school is best for her. Wow, they’ve come so far from Chilton…I’m not crying YOU’RE crying!!!!!
