Say hello to Jevon! Jevon Graham is a senior here at IUP from Philadelphia, PA majoring in Cellular and Molecular Biology. He is the President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Xi Sigma Chapter; Vice President of the NPHC, and board member of the Committee for diversity and student inclusion. For those who are not too familiar with NPHC, it is the National Pan-Hellenic Council. Be on the lookout for Alpha Phi Alpha’s upcoming “Miss Black and Gold Scholarship Pageant,” in December. The pageants purpose is to highlight young women’s poise and academic achievement while providing monetary need for scholastic needs. Danielle Jones, also known as Dannie, is a junior English, Writing major with a minor in Business Administration. Dannie is one of Her Campus at IUP’s Campus Correspondents alongside myself. On campus, Dannie is the Head Community Assistant of Suites on Maple East and a member of the Residence Hall Association. She is currently preparing to take her Graduate Record Examination, so that she can obtain her master’s in Student Affairs in Higher Education. Meet Kiera! Kiera Estes is a senior Chemistry major, with a minor in Biology and Forensic Biosciences. Within her time at IUP, she has become a member of Women in STEM, the American Chemical Society, NSLS, SAL, and a brother of Alpha Chi Sigma (A professional Chemistry Fraternity). Kiera’s goal when joining these organizations was to bring consciousness of science, specifically chemistry, to the younger community, women, and especially women of minorities. $wipe is a living example of “show and tell”, striving day in day to make the dream tangible. He is a 22-year-old artist born and raised in Uptown Philadelphia, but short from ordinary. Aside from being the voice of the people, he is head honcho of a creative company that goes by the name of, “The Cougars,” which stands for motivated, young innovators that move ahead of their time and exceed expectations. With such a unique sound and creative word play he also specializes in merchandise, graphic design and visual direction.
