Even though some of us refuse to listen to Christmas music- (the “It’s not even Thanksgiving yet” excuse is getting a little old, y’all!), it is impossible to ignore the fact that the holidays are, in fact, upon us. While this means a lot of things; finals, a month long break, and trudging through the snow for your 8:30, it also means that it’s time to think about holiday gifts! The only problem, though, is that we’re all broke college students.

So what on earth do you get your absolute favorite people in the world on a ~very ~ tight budget, and when you’ve already exhausted every Pinterest page? No worries, we’ve got you covered!

1. Decorated Mason Jar

Mason jars are so cute and inexpensive! Your friends can take them from school to home with little to no hassle. One year for Christmas, one of my best friends gave me a Mason jar full of pictures of the two of us, and little quotations and explanations written on the back. We were maybe 10 years old, and to this day, that gift is in my room at home. It is by far one of my favorite gifts in the world, because it was so thoughtful and sweet. You can also fill them with candy or hot chocolate mix (as seen below).

2. Bath Bombs

When your friends go home for break, they’re going to want to relax in a super warm bath, and what better way than with a bath bomb? They’re super inexpensive at Lush, and your friends will love you forever. Plus, there are adorable rings in some of them if you order online.

3. Daily Planner

If I didn’t have my Lilly Pulitzer planner, I would be incredibly lost. Everyone who knows me understands how I never stop running around, and my whole life is in that daily planner. I would heavily recommend one of these as a gift for your go-getter friend, who is most likely to be the next President of the United States.

4. Decorative pillows

Usually these are super inexpensive, especially on Amazon or at Target. Throw them on the bed, and make your friends dorm one hundred times more adorable and cozy! Ideal for your friend who ~loves~ sitting in bed and having the perfect aesthetic vibe in her room.

5. Fuzzy socks

Walking around the dorms can be super harsh on your feet- so why not buy your girls a pair of wicked fuzzy socks to keep them warm? Pro tip: If you put cream on your feet before you put them on, they make you feel like you stepped out of a spa in New York City. Plus, they’re super cheap, so invest in a pair of your own!

Happy shopping ladies!
