As the semester picks up it’s time to find a new show to binge while you procrastinate the mountain of work you have to complete. While home for winter break, my sister introduced me to the show Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It’s a perfect show for me and hopefully for you! I love crime shows but also need something that is light and doesn’t require that much attention during the semester.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is the perfect show because it follows the lives of detectives that work in the Brooklyn precinct nine nine. The show has the perfect balance of comedy and action to get me interested. The show will have you laughing until you cry which is understandable as Andy Samberg plays one of the leading characters, Jake Peralta. He is constantly causing havoc in the precinct with his best friend, Charles Boyle. When he is not getting in trouble he is flirting with his love interest, Amy Santiago. The whole cast really brings makes the show fun to watch and make you want to binge it all day long.
So, if you’re looking for a light and funny show to watch this semester, I highly recommend starting Brooklyn Nine-Nine. You can stream it on Hulu or watch it on Fox!
