Concerts have always been part of my life. I remember attending my first concert by Hilary Duff when I was pretty young. That was the beginning of saving my allowances and begging my parents to take me to my next favorite singer or group. From seeing the Cheetah Girls to One Direction, to rappers like Outkast and NF, or country artists such as Rascal Flatts and Florida Georgia Line, I have wanted to see them all. Here are some reasons that concerts are so awesome and make my life so worth living.

The Atmosphere

Concerts are a way to put you in such a good mood. It is really cool to be in a place where everyone loves something the same as you. The energy is alive and makes you have such amazing feelings.

The Memories

Concert experiences and music festivals are such amazing things to look back on. It’s fun to watch the not so great videos you recorded there and all the pictures of your favorite band or artist. It takes you back to the whole event and everything that went on like waiting in long lines or meeting new people.

Expanding your Music

Being able to hear other bands and artists from around the country or world is a cool way to expand your knowledge and taste.  Opening acts are awesome ways to hear new bands. I got into Nightly after seeing NF and I’m really excited to see how they will grow and listen to their new and upcoming music.

Being Close

It’s an amazing experience to be front and center for your favorite concert. It makes the concert experience that much better and having the opportunity to interact with the band or singer is really awesome. Bowling for Soup visited my school and I loved being able to be in the first row and sing every song with them. They were so interactive that it was one of my favorite concerts I’ve been to, even though they were more popular in the early 2000s.

Seeing Them Live

Seeing your favorite band live after listening for months or possibly years is a neat experience. It brings their music to life and you can see how amazing they really are. Sometimes the anticipation comes from buying your tickets months in advance but either way, it pays off in the end.Meeting Them

Most popular artists are hard to meet in person, but there is always a chance when you go to their concert. I got to go to an acoustic concert for 5 Seconds of Summer where a meet and greet was included with the ticket. That was a fantastic experience and I would recommend that to everyone.
