So, I took a month off of posting about my bullet journal so I could deal with some personal things I wanted to work through, but we’re back on track for February!!

First off, I really liked my monthly spread this month. It was simple enough that I didn’t get overwhelmed with all the work I needed to do because the days and what I had to do were separated instead of mushed all into those squares. I also liked having a goals section because it helped me realize what I wanted to focus on for the month instead of trying to better every aspect of my life all at once. Did I accomplish all of these goals? Not necessarily, but it was a nice reminder when I was getting too in my head about all my work.

I’ve been futzing around with my weekly spread both because of laziness and lack of free time, so for two weeks it was incredibly plain. It worked, but I didn’t feel like I was getting anything done besides what absolutely needed to be done (work, laundry, sorority events, etc.). Last week I got a little more complicated, but I forget to leave a space for my daily sticky note and it made the page a little too cluttered for me. I think my goal for next month will be to figure out a weekly schedule that works but its still relatively complicated.

Another new thing I added was a list of all of the grading scales for my classes along with my final exam schedules. Its been really helpful when I get a grade back to be able to flip to this page to see how much it will be worth instead of having to go through all my documents and find the syllabus. I also put in my finals schedule so that I don’t have to guess when my last day of school is when trying to plan out summer work (or concert) schedules.

Probably my favorite part of this month has been allowing myself to take notes and figure out other things besides school schedules!! I feel like I am getting more use out of it, and it has all of the things I want to keep track of in one location. I’ve started writing down my choreography (I’m starting a dance club at ECU wooo!!) , taking class notes, and having my spring break packing list in my journal and it makes me really happy.

I hope for next month to figure out a weekly spread that works for me and continue to take notes and figure out my life in this journal!!

Hi! I'm Rachel, a freshman intended nursing major at ECU! Am I the most elequent speaker? Not really. Do I have my life together at all times? Aboslutely not. But in my 18 years on this planet, I have figured out a couple things. Hopefully I can make your day a little bit brighter after reading my stuff!
