St. Patrick’s Day Celebration Itinerary

Raise your hand if you are at least .001 percent Irish! Even if you don’t consider yourself a lucky Irish, you can still show off your green pride this Saturday. Madison is well prepared to show off its green spirit with an entire day of celebratory events. Take a look at the main events you can add to your weekend schedule.

 

1. Shamrock Shuffle 5k

Quick! Gather up all your friends and join the Shamrock Shuffle this Saturday at 10 a.m. This is a great way to enjoy the nice, warm weather and to treat your body to an awesome workout — all while celebrating St. Patty’s. The participation fee is $30 or $35 the day of. All the proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County and The Dyslexia Center of Madison.

 

2. St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Take a break from the grind and venture to Capital Square for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade that starts at 1:30 p.m. This is a great way to see, hear and even taste Irish culture!

 

3. Culinary Dinner Theatre

As the sun begins to set, enjoy a traditional Irish feast at DelecTable from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Put on your best green attire!

 

Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this Saturday here in Madison! Whether you’re getting a shamrock shake at McDonald’s or running the Shamrock Shuffle, make sure to take a break from studying and enjoy a day of celebration.
