Beauty shops similar to Ulta and Sephora

As a makeup enthusiast, who happens to live on a college campus from August to April, I find it super difficult to get makeup. I try to stock up beforehand and make a little makeup care bag. However, sometimes I wait until I get to school to stock up. Unfortunately, there isn’t a Sephora or Ulta near me. So, if you’re like me, or not, then here’s a few places you can shop that aren’t Ulta or Sephora but will give you the same luxury.

            Hush Beauty

You’ve probably heard of Hush. However, if you haven’t let me introduce you to this amazing company. Hush has been known to make amazing dupes of palettes like Urban Decay’s Naked and even Huda Beauty and Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes. This website is very similar to a discount Ulta or Sephora. This company even sells brands like NYX, Shea Moisture, TonyMoly, and Milani, to name a few.  You can download their app and get more exclusive deals and discounts.

BeautyLish

BeautyLish, I always want to sing Destiny Child’s Bootylicious when I say it, is extremely similar to Sephora and Ulta. They sell our favorite makeup brands like Too Faced, Becca, and ABH, to name a few. They also sell skincare brands like Sunday Riley, Farmacy, and Boscia, to name a few. While they’re extremely similar to Ulta and Sephora, they do offer things that those two stores don’t. Every November BeautyLish has a gift card event where you can receive a $20 gift card for every $100 you spend and in December they offer “lucky bags”. Lucky bags are mystery bags that contain $150+ worth of products for only $75. They even offer flexible payments for all orders over $50. You can pay for your order in monthly installments without the fear of an extra cost being attached.

Dermstore

Dermstore is another super comparable store. The great thing about Dermstore is that they give all new subscribers 20% off their first order. What makes Dermstore is different is that they were opened in 1999 by a board-certified dermatologist. You can also get expert tips and advice. Like Sephora and Ulta, they offer free samples and gifts with your purchase.

SpaceNK

SpaceNK is known for their skincare and candles. They also have a super amazing rewards program. Unlike Sephora and Ulta, SpaceNK only has two levels to their rewards program. N. Dulge is for those that have just subscribed and N. Dulge Deluxe is for those that spend $1,000 + a year. You earn 1 point for every $1 you spend and every 100 points you earned is equal to a $5 N.Centive. The cool thing about their rewards program is you can even earn points for leaving reviews on products and referring your friends. With both levels, you earn rewards, special privileges and exclusive invites.

Cult Beauty

Cult Beauty focuses on the most sought-after beauty products that have a cult following. Beauty items like Kate Sommerville’s goat milk moisturizing cream, which has a waiting list, and newly released Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder are featured on the site. Cult Beauty is a UK based site that was founded in 2008 by Jessica and Alexia, two women who were sick of the products they accumulated and the money they were wasting.
