One of the most useful pieces of clothing in my closet is a white shirt I bought from Mango for €5. It’s definitely not the coolest thing in my closet. It’s definitely one of the plainest things in my closet, but it’s also one of the things that matches with almost everything in my closet.

A plain white shirt can pretty much go with any outfit. You can dress it up or dress it down. It always looks good with a pair of blacked ripped jeans. One of my favorite looks for any time or any event is an all black and white outfit. It’s simple and can be elegant or casual. You can also wear a plain white shirt under an overall dress or really with any type of denim. It looks great with a jean jacket of any color.

A plain white shirt is also perfect if you’re going to dress sporty as well. It matches every type of legging or shorts pattern there ever was/is. It’s also perfect because it’s really hard to see sweat stains in white clothing.

Another perk of the plain white shirt is you can have as many or as little of them as you want. No one will know whether or not you wore the exact same white shirt two days in a row. If you don’t have time to do a wash, I know this might be gross, you can honestly grab the shirt out of your hamper and pair it with anything and get going; maybe spray some perfume or something on it first though! You can also spice it up and have several different white shirts with slight differences between them. They can be made of different materials and have different cuts. THERE ARE SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!

Basically, what I’m trying to say is you can never go wrong with a plain white shirt. It’s definitely a basic necessity along with air, water, and food.
