Youtubers to Watch Right Now

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at LUC chapter.

I have been watching Youtube basically since I discovered what it was. Some people might just watch a certain category of Youtubers, or might not even watch any at all. Throughout the years, I have found some very interesting, funny, and helpful people to watch, from vloggers to beauty gurus. Here are my top 5 all time favorite Youtubers that if you don’t watch already, you need to.

David Dobrik- If you watch Youtube, you definitely already know who David Dobrik is. I’ve always heard a lot about him and his videos, but never really watched any of them before. Recently I spent around four hours straight just binge watching his vlogs and was genuinely laughing through every single video. He’s also from Chicago so I feel like I naturally have to love him.

Maggie MacDonald- Maggie is a smaller youtuber based out of Massachusetts. She mostly makes vlogs and lifestyle videos which I really enjoy because she’s in college so I find her very relatable. She also has an amazing aesthetic to all her videos and I love to watch her when I’m getting ready in the mornings.

Emma Chamberlain- Emma is another very popular youtuber that has grown dramatically in the last year or so. Her videos don’t exactly fall into one specific category, but literally every single video of hers is hilarious. She also has a really cute style that I always take inspiration from.

Margot Lee- I discovered Margot back in highschool and I would definitely say she’s one of my favorites, and not just because she’s from Connecticut like me. Margot goes to school at Syracuse University and she creates a majority of her videos around her life at college which I find very helpful and would definitely recommend if you need inspiration at school or just want something fun to watch.

Siena Mirabella- I have been watching Siena’s videos for probably the longest out of any other person on this list. I started watching her because I love to read and she makes amazing book recommendation videos, which she still continues to make. She also creates the best lifestyle videos from morning routine videos to an apartment tour. Siena’s decorating style as well as her fashion style really inspires me and I highly suggest watching her.

I spend a lot of my free time watching Youtube so narrowing down this list was difficult, but these are unquestionably my favorite people to watch. If you haven’t already check out the Youtubers I mentioned and I promise you won’t regret it!

Hi! I'm a sophomore at Loyola Chicago and I'm an advertising major!
I am a fourth year student at Loyola University Chicago. I am highly interested in journalism, and social media marketing, especially when it comes to news and fashion. My current experiences consist of sales in different companies throughout the Midwest, such as Ann Taylor and Kate Spade, and editorial work with various companies, including Her Campus and Orange Coast magazine.
