My Skin Did This When I Tried the 60 Second Routine

Skin Care is one of the few things I like to switch up every so often. Usually it’s a new product; a new cream or mask I found. Recently I watched a video on Youtube about washing your face for 60 seconds. Here is the link to that video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9yyZ9PysjI . It can change the texture of your skin, help with breakout AND hyperpigmentation. I had to try it! I’ve been doing this for a few weeks and there are some major changes I’ve seen. The biggest change I have noticed is the texture. My skin has always been very textured, but since starting with the 60 second rule, there is a MAJOR reduction in the visible texture of my skin. Also, my skin has a glow to it even without makeup. But also… my skin went through a “purge” after the first week. If you’ve read my previous article, you know I attributed the breakouts I was having to me stopping birth control, I also thought maybe I had been eating too much chocolate (yes, I know but it’s so good). It turns out when you begin to cleanse your skin the right way, any build up oil, or underlying acne will come to the surface in a sort of “purging” of the skin. However, do not be discouraged, because after you skin gets its life in order you’ll be left with skin to die for!
